Text messaging terms

Who gets texts. Only people who contacted us first: renters, tenants and maintenance vendors who text (512) 688-8229, and renters who request a tour of one of our homes on Zillow with their phone number, who get replies about that tour request only. We never buy or rent phone numbers.
First reply. Our first text to a new number ends with: "Texts from Constantin Scholl Rentals about this rental. Msg freq varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes."
What the texts are about. One-to-one messages about showings, rental applications, move-in and move-out, maintenance and repairs, and reminders about things already agreed. No marketing.
How often. Message frequency varies with the conversation.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
Stop or get help. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts; you'll get one confirmation and nothing more. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email rentals@scholl.email.
Agreeing to texts is not a condition of renting, applying or being hired.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we collect. Your name, phone number, email, the messages you send us, and what you tell us in a rental inquiry or application.
How we use it. Only to communicate with you about the home, showing, application, tenancy or job you contacted us about.
Sharing. We do not sell or rent your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. We use service providers that help us run the rentals (for example our phone and texting provider, and, only when you apply and authorize it, a tenant screening service), and we disclose information when the law requires it. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
Your choices. Reply STOP to end texts. Email rentals@scholl.email to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, except records we must keep by law or for an active lease.
